Kyle meets her partner that she never heard before

Chapter 2: Second adventure in the dream

Day 10 / 100

  • Scene 10
  • Character: Kyle, Alex
  • Kyle finished up the reading and still sits on the sofa.

She can clearly see the flat now. It is a two-bedroom flat, the living room and an open kitchen area share the same place. The entrance is on the left side next to a wood cupboard.

Kyle feels a bit dizzy in this dream, as the colour here is so gloomy. It seems like she’s in a 1960s’ film.

‘Or maybe, I am now playing Doctor Who.’ Kyle thinks

‘Hey Kyle, you alright? I called you many times.’ A men’s voice pulls Kyle back to the scene.

‘Oh, you are… Alex?’ the name just comes up in her mind. ‘So the room now is become an office? When are you coming? I didn’t see you.’ Kyle asks the man.

‘You are not right? Of course, I am here, I am your partner. Don’t you remember? All the equipment you need, the organisation already send to here.’ Alex seems worried about Kyle.

‘Yeah, I am fine. It just the place is too dark. I can’t believe that I live here.’ Kyle says to Alex.

Alex stars Kyle, ‘this place is not your flat. it just for undercover us.’

‘ Are you sure, you okay? seems you forget lots of things?… I hope you can keep doing the mission.’ Alex asks Kyle.

‘Uh… I think I might miss something, haha… everything alright.’ Kyle replies Alex was somewhat ambiguous.

Alex doesn't want to get into the bottom, ‘ok, the package “victim” has already arrived here, and this flat is the safe house. We have to cover them in this building to transferring the package.’

‘We’ll separate into two different sides and protect them in the dark.’ Kyle continuing to explain the mission. She just unconsciously continuing the conversation.

‘Yes, so get your equipment. BTW we are siblings and have lived here for three months. Be attention to the neighbour of number 19, the madam is so talkative and love the juicy gossip.’ Alex reminds Kyle.

Kyle laughs and says: ‘Oh, Alex, you are really adorable. I am so sorry that I am being ironic.’

‘I don’t want to talk to that madam either, so you go for that way, maybe she’ll let you go as you are so adorable. hahaha…’ Kyle tries to pretend that she is controlling everything.

‘How would you go out, if you don’t pass that way?’ Alex asks

‘Easy,’ Kyle turns her head to the window and pointing on the window. ‘Here! I go out of the window, it’s too late to use the stairs.'

'You are really crazy.’ Alex shrugs his shoulders and turns back to the room. ‘It’s time for our mission, remember to grab your guns!’

‘Wow, this is gonna be fun!’ Kyle excited about this situation, as her clothes already changed to complete a fighting outfit.

  • Kyle follows Alex into the room, it is complete a small arsenal. She gabs all the equipment she needs but also feels this is so ridiculous.

‘Are you sure the package is just a normal “slavered employee” comes from Asia?’ Kyle asks Alex, ‘don’t you feel weird that we have to be armed and protect the package?’

‘It’s just a work’ Alex answered.

‘Fine, you are so boring…’ Kyle murmured

  • Both of them are armed completely and Alex runs out from the entrance. Kyle throws herself out of the window by a rope.

‘Na…This is so bright! Fxxk!’ Kyle can’t open her eyes because of the harsh light. ‘Alex didn’t tell me it was an open market outside!! OMG, how do they find a safe house in the town centre?’

  • Kyle realised her action might cause people’s attention, so she changes to a sneaking position.

‘Why my dream become a humour film?’ Kyle thinks when she is descending to the ground.

Finally, She arrived at the ground and heard Julia is calling from her earphone.

‘Code Red, the package is attacked! Alex and Kyle cover our spot immediately!!

Kyle heard several loud noises. The people in the market are looking at the same place which comes up a huge smoke.

‘Finally, this is my normal dream! A voice just comes from Kyle’s mind.

To be continued…
